- Abstracts can only be submitted online via the abstract submission portal. Abstracts sent by post, fax or email will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.
- All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
- The content of the abstract must fall under one of the categories listed below:
- Antifungal agents: includes pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and therapeutic drug monitoring
- Antifungal susceptibility and resistance
- Management of fungal diseases
- Cutaneous/superficial and subcutaneous fungal infections
- Diagnostic mycology
- Epidemiology
- Ecology/fundamental/basic mycology
- Infection control, prevention and antifungal stewardship
- Pathogenesis and immunity
- To ensure a smooth abstract review process, the category and topic of your work must be selected at submission.
- Submitted abstracts must describe unpublished work (as full papers) at the moment of submission. Unpublished abstracts presented at other scientific meetings (different specialties) will be considered.
- The length of the abstract body must not exceed a total of 500 words, which is approximately 2,500 characters.
- The abstract should include a title that clearly indicates the nature of the investigation. Depending on whether your abstract is research-based or a Case Report, the body follows the following format:
- Research format / case report format
- Purpose / Introduction
- Materials and Methods / Not applicable
- Results / Report
- Conclusion
- Research format / case report format
- Images and figures can be included as attachments to your abstract submission. Only PDF or Microsoft Word document attachments are allowed.
- After having submitted your abstract, you will immediately receive a confirmation by e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation by e-mail, please contact the Secretariat at [email protected]
- You can save your abstract as draft or make corrections to your submitted abstract through the online submission system until March 31, 2024. Changes to your abstract will not be possible after the deadline.
- Please ensure your abstract does not contain spelling, grammar or scientific mistakes, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted. Linguistic accuracy is the responsibility of the submitter. No post-submission proofreading will be done by the Congress Organizers.
- The presenting author of the abstract must be registered for the Congress.
- If an abstract is accepted, the presenting author must attend the physical Congress taking place in Bangkok, Thailand.
- All accepted abstracts will be made available on the onsite Congress web platform.
- You may submit more than one abstract in the same abstract category or in different abstract categories (up to two abstracts in total).
