Oral & poster presentation guidelines

Abstract presentation formats

The following presentation formats are available. Please note that the preferred choice you indicated while submitting the abstract is not necessary the final presentation format. The final choice will be made by the scientific committee and communicated after April 30, 2024.

E-poster presentation

E-posters will be available on electronic panels positioned around the Congress area for delegates to view during the Congress period, and on-demand following the Congress. Viewers can easily find and browse e-posters, and request for the posters in PDF format when permitted by the presenter.

Upon confirmation, presenters of e-posters who have registered will receive specific instructions on how to prepare and submit their e-posters. For advanced reference, e-posters submitted will be required to match the following specifications:

E-Poster presentation size: A3 portrait (width 26.67cm X height 35.56cm)

Format of e-Poster: 1-page PDF

Maximum file size: Less than 5MB

A select group of finalists will be invited to compete in a final poster judging session, whereby presenters will present their research to a panel of judges for 5 minutes (4-min presentation + 1-min Q&A). Finalists stand a chance of winning the Best Poster Presentation Award. Further details on the judging session will be shared with the finalists upon the initial abstract review.

Oral presentation

Oral presentations provide an opportunity for authors to present their findings/papers live during a designated slot within the Scientific Program. Oral presentations will be available on-demand for viewing following the congress.

Abstracts are selected for oral presentations by the scientific committee. Each oral presentation is maximum 8 minutes long (maximum 8 slides, not including title slide and ending slide), with 2 minutes of Q&A with the judges.
